The drive from Port Arthur.
Take US 69 north out of Port Arthur, through Nederland and up into Beaumont. Stay on the freeway as it combines with US 96 and 287 and continue past downtown to the north side of the city. Par 19 is at 8865 Eastex Freeway.
It is around thirty miles and a little under forty minutes. It is a real drive, so it is worth building the evening around rather than squeezing in — which is more or less how our Port Arthur guests use it.

The reason the drive works is that you are not just booking a tee time. There is a pizza kitchen and a proper bar, and everything can be ordered from the bay and brought to you while the round keeps going, so dinner and the entertainment are the same stop. Book two hours, put six people in a bay, and the evening costs about what dinner alone would.
It is also the most straightforward answer to a birthday, a bachelor party or a company night in a city where the options run thin. Five bays hold thirty players at once, and we set up the format, the food and the live leaderboards in advance so nobody has to referee their own party.
